Mark Bennion

English Faculty Member

Brother Mark Bennion has been a faculty member in the English Department at BYU-Idaho since 2000. Prior to coming here he pursued his formal education at BYU, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the University of Montana. Over the past 15 years he has taught various classes, including Writing and Reasoning Foundations, Introduction to Literature, Drama as Literature, Fundamentals of Literary Interpretation, and Writing Poetry.

Mark's work in the church includes assignments in the Primary, Young Men's, Elders' quorum, and bishopric.

While Mark enjoys writing, reading, collecting sports' cards, running, and playing any sport with a racquet, above all he loves traveling and spending time with his wife, Kristine, their four daughters and one son.
