Biography:

Robert Bird is a faculty member in the English Department at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where, since 1992, he has taught courses in American literature, Shakespeare, literary theory, and philosophy.

 He earned a Doctor of Arts degree in English from Idaho State University, a master’s degree from the University of Utah, and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.  

 At BYU-I, Robert has served as the president of the Faculty Association and as the chair of the university forum committee. He is married to Rebecca Herron, and they have five children, two grandchildren, and another grandchild on the way.
