Sister Susan K. Bednar

Susan Kae Robinson Bednar was born and reared in Afton, Wyoming.  She is the daughter of Kay and Nyla Clement Robinson.

Sister Bednar graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  She taught first grade for two years and was involved with institutions of higher education with Elder Bednar while he served as a faculty member at Texas Tech University and the University of Arkansas and as the president of Brigham Young University - Idaho.

In the Church Sister Bednar has served as Primary president, Primary chorister, young women president, gospel doctrine teacher, and Lambda Delta Sigma sorority adviser.

Elder and Sister Bednar were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1975 and they are the parents of three sons.
