Disability Services Director


Wade Gordon was born and raised in Huntington, Utah. He earned an associate degree in social work from Ricks College, and bachelor's and master’s degrees in social work from Idaho State University and Walla Walla College.

He worked for eight years in juvenile corrections, and then came to BYU-Idaho in 2005 to work as a Student Honor Office Administrator. He became the director of Disability Services in 2014.

Brother Gordon served in the Argentina Mendoza Mission and is currently in the young men’s presidency in his ward.

Wade asked his wife, Misty, to marry him on their second date, and they were married four months later in the Manti temple. They have five children, and their two oldest daughters are BYU-Idaho students. Brother Gordon loves to go fishing anytime and anywhere he has the chance.
